BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions UK has announced the appointment of Andrea Rix

Andrea Rix has been appointed as Head of Service Delivery for its Equipment and Logistics Solutions (ELS) division. In her new role, Andrea, who has been with the business since 2001, will use her deep understanding of the asset finance industry to drive operational excellence in key delivery areas such as new business, credit, asset management and customer service.

Andrea most recently held the position of Head of Business Transformation where she took a lead role in implementing a series of initiatives linked to the company’s mid-term strategic plan known as ‘Transformation 2020’.

Other roles held by Andrea included Simple & Efficient Programme Leader and Head of ELS Vendor Operations. In these positions she has consistently delivered measurable success.

As part of her new role, Andrea joins the UK business leadership team joining Mark Richards, Head of Sales, who has also been newly appointed to the role.

Departing the business is Jon Cooper, Head of ELS Vendor Sales, a long-serving and highly-respected industry figure. Jon will be entering his retirement early 2019, having served BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions for over 7 years. During his time, Jon helped to establish the ELS division as a market leader in key asset finance markets such as farm, construction, commercial vehicles and materials handling, as well as instigating expansion in to adjacent markets such as food manufacturing and trailers.

Commenting on Andrea Rix’s appointment, Jean-Michel Boyer, CEO of BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, comments:

“Throughout her time with the business, Andrea has shown exceptional leadership skills. Andrea is deeply committed to exceptional customer service and as part of the leadership team, will continue to play a key role in executing our mid-term plan which is underpinned by a significant digital investment programme and process optimisation for our partners and customers.

“I am delighted to announce her appointment as Head of Service Delivery and look forward to further strengthening our service proposition here in the UK.”

On Jon Cooper’s retirement, Jean-Michel Boyer said:

“Over the years, Jon has made an immensely positive impact on our company and those who have worked with him. I would like to personally thank Jon for his unwavering service and dedication, and offer him our greatest thanks and appreciation on behalf of the business.”
